What makes your bath and skincare products handmade?

All our soaps, body butters and bath treats are handmade in small batches locally in Australia. Each soap bar is handpoured, handcut, and along with other skincare and bath products are packaged by hand for quality purpose. 

Are all your products vegan?

Yes! All our soaps and beauty products are 100% vegan. We never use animal-derived ingredients like beeswax, honey, or goat’s milk—only plant-based oils, butters, and botanicals.

Why should I choose handmade soap over conventional soap?

Handmade soaps retain natural glycerine, a powerful moisturizer often removed from mass-produced soaps. Free from harsh chemicals like parabens, sulphates, and synthetic fragrances, handmade soaps like Raffine's use plant based oils and butters, they cleanse gently, protecting your skin’s natural barrier.

How should I store handmade soap and body butter and bath treats?

Keep handmade soap on a well-draining dish and let it dry between uses; this extends its life. Store butters, bath treats in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and reseal lids/pouches tightly after use.

What should I do if I have a reaction?

Discontinue use immediately and contact us with details. We will assist with advice or, if needed, suggest a suitable replacement. Always review product ingredient lists on our website and consult us if you have sensitivities.

Ingredients & Safety

What ingredients do you use?

We use plant-based oils (olive, coconut, almond), natural butters (shea, mango, cocoa), pure essential oils, and botanicals. Our products never contain parabens, phthalates or artificial fragrances.

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?

Our formulas are gentle and free from harsh chemicals or synthetic additives that may cause irritation. However, always check the ingredient list and patch test if you have sensitivities.

Ethical & Environmental Impact

Are your products cruelty-free and vegan?

Yes. All our handmade products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. We never test on animals or use animal-derived ingredients.

Orders & Customer Care

Are your products safe during pregnancy or for children?

Our soaps are made with gentle, plant-based ingredients and are free from harsh chemicals. However, because we use essential oils, some products may not be suitable for children under 2 or during pregnancy. We recommend reviewing the ingredients and consulting your healthcare provider before use.

What does “Australian made” mean for your soaps, butters and bath treats?

All our products are formulated, handmade, and packaged in Australia, supporting local communities and using as many Australian-sourced ingredients as possible.

Product Quality & Benefits

Do your products contain artificial colours or preservatives?

No. Our soaps and creams do not contain synthetic dyes, artificial fragrances, or preservatives. Natural clays, plant extracts and essential oils give them their colour, scent, and benefits.

Customer Support

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened or used personal care items. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 5 days for a resolution—your satisfaction is our priority.
